Chelsea Villa Systems Integration
Working along side an A/V supplier, Reality Logic are integrating a large villa in the heart of Chelsea. Our work includes the installation of a Gira door entry system that is integrated to the TV and telephone systems, Crestron systems programming and the installation of the data, voice and television distribution hardware.
iDyl Pronto Module
Contracted directly to the DFSolutions, the designers of the iDyl media server, Reality Logic are producing a two way, IP based module for the Philips Pronto TSU9600. The module allows complete control of the iDyl server from a Pronto, enabling sophisticated control in a very convenient package. The combination of the iDyl server and the Pronto opens a whole new world of high end sophistication at very reasonable cost. The completed module was launched at the ISE 2008 show in Amsterdam at the end of January 2008.
Holland Park Victorian Villa
Reality Logic have been commissioned to deliver a fully integrated automation solution throughout a large Victoria villa located in Holland Park, London. The property is spread across four floors and will feature KNX controlled intelligent lighting and heating, Gira door entry, a basement media centre, distributed audio and video, multiple flat-screens and so on. First fix electrical work started at the beginning of the 2008, with completion due in the late spring.
Integrated Chichester Penthouse
Reality Logic are currently installing an integrated automation and home entertainment solution in the penthouse apartment in Chichester. The property features a KNX based integrated lighting, heating, blinds and security solution, including fingerprint door entry. In addition the property has a multi-room audio solution using Systemline and a highly customised Pronto TSU9400 for control of the home cinema.
Five Bedroom Rural Sussex Property
First fix work has just commenced on a large property being built in rural West Sussex. The wiring being currently installed incorporates KNX cabling for the home automation and a CAT6 network for both data and A/V distribution. The home, which will be sold by the developer, has allowance for surround sound and wall mounted flat-screen televisions in different areas so that the eventual owner can choose where to place their home entertainment.
Another feature of the property will be the WHD multi-room system that offers sophisticated integration with the KNX backbone.
Fully integrated town house at Brighton Marina
Reality Logic are providing a completely integrated solution for the heating lighting, multi-room a/v and security at a Brighton marina town house. The solution incorporates an KNX/EIB backbone for the heating and lighting that also integrates with the alarm system. The property features a multi-room audio/video distribution system based around Sky HD, media PCs and Slim Devices Squeezebox.
The lounge features a 50" plasma screen with 5:1 surround sound using Amina in-wall speakers that are completely plastered over. All the hardware is mounted centrally in a Middle Atlantic slide out rack.
The icing on the cake is the Crestron based control system being used to provide simple wireless control for all of the technology in the property.
Integrated five bedroom house in Winchester
Reality Logic are installing a sophisticated system in a Winchester property that integrates KNX/EIB with Comfort and CAT8 cabling infrastructure. All the multiroom audio, heating and lighting control, security, CCTV and so on are integrated together.
A Pronto TSU9600 is being used to control the lounge home cinema and is currently being extended to control the whole house via ProntoScript and the RFX9600 serial extender.
AMX controlled high end A/V system
Reality Logic have been commissioned to design and build a control system using AMX hardware for a high end A/V installation in Jersey. This includes two home cinemas, multi-room audio, multiple iPods, multiple Sharp LCD screens and a multi-node iDyl video server. The A/V infrastructure also includes Meridian 861 sound processor, Meridian 800 DVD player, ADA Suite16 switching hardware, Crystallio scaler and Pioneer Blu-Ray player, Toshiba HD-HVD player, Faroudja DILA1080 projector and Rako lighting. All of this is being controlled with several AMX CV5 in-wall touch panels, CV7 table top panels and Modero R4 colour LCD remote controls.
The main cinema has now been commissioned, with complete control of the various sources managed from a table top mounted AMX CV7 panel. Work is continuing on the multi-room audio control.
Gira HomeServer installation in Surrey
Reality Logic are installing a Gira HomeServer3 into an existing very sophisticated KNX/EIB installation in high end Surrey residence. The client has picked Reality Logic for our experience in developing high quality control systems for KNX/EIB networks using sophisticated products such as HomeServer.
The project brief not only includes visualising functions in the house for ease of access from any PC, but also the very important aspect of remote monitoring and control that is currently lacking.
Other Projects
Reality Logic are involved in many other projects such as numerous plasma/LCD installations, troubleshooting Opus Octopus installations, upgrading a Systemline install and updating the programming on a KNX/EIB installation that has been in place for a number of years.
