Moving Home Service
Reality Logic are pleased to offer a service geared to specific needs of people moving home when they have complex and valuable audio/visual equipment to transfer to their new home. Although we tailor the service to each client, the basic framework consists of a number of key activities:
- A pre move site survey to understand exactly what equipment is in place and what the unique needs of your move are.
- Liaise with your removal firm to ensure they are aware of the situation and determine if they require our support on the day.
- Before your move day we will come in and pack up all the equipment. We can use the original packing if you have it or can supply suitable boxes and packing material. We will take equipment from it's completely installed state - including wall hung screens, brackets and even in wall/in ceiling speakers - and packing it ready for removal. All cables are labled and packed so they can be reused to the same configuration on reinstallation. All boxes are suitably labelled so the removal firm are completely aware of the nature of the contents.
- If required, we will visit on the day of the removal to liaise with and support the removal firm. This can include both the loading and unloading of the equipment.
- At an agreed date after the main move we will come and reinstall the equipment in your new home. At the most basic level, equipment would be set up in using the same cables and configuration as in your original home however we can obviously tailor the re-installation to make the best of your new home.
This framework is completely customised to your needs and almost any requirement can be catered for. For example:
- We can combine the re-installation with the custom installation of additional equipment and technology.
- Perhaps synchronise the installation with redecorating or building works being undertaken on your new property.
- Supply additional plasma or LCD screens, for example maybe fitting a drop down LCD in your new kitchen.
- Fit additional TV and satellite points or organise for digital TV installation right after your move.
- Arrange for the storage of your equipment in a suitable site if it is to be a while before you require it in your new property
- Personally accompany or even move specific items to be absolutely sure they are transported exactly as required.
